Clinical Application
Designed for gynecologic procedures requiring controlled scraping or evacuation of the endometrial cavity. The blunt, spoon-shaped tip is used for mechanical removal of endometrial tissue, retained products, or fragile membranes during diagnostic and therapeutic dilation and curettage (D&C), postpartum uterine evacuation, and other intrauterine procedures where a non-cutting edge is preferred to reduce trauma.
Design & Configuration
The malleable shaft allows the clinician to contour the instrument to individual patient anatomy and procedural needs, improving reach and maneuverability within the uterine cavity. The 20 mm spoon-shaped, blunt tip provides a broad contact surface for efficient tissue collection while minimizing localized pressure and the risk of perforation associated with sharp curettes. The overall 31 cm length gives adequate working distance for most transvaginal approaches.
