Clinical Application

Provides controlled manual curettage and uterine exploration for diagnostic and therapeutic gynecologic procedures. The malleable blunt tip is intended for gentle scraping and removal of endometrial tissue during dilation and curettage (D&C), endometrial biopsy, and removal of retained products. The combination of tip size and shaft length supports access to the uterine cavity while allowing the operator to shape the instrument to individual patient anatomy.

Design & Configuration

The malleable shaft permits intraoperative contouring to optimize approach angle and reach within the uterine cavity. A blunt 6 mm curette tip reduces the risk of focal perforation compared with sharp curettes while enabling efficient tissue collection. The 31 cm overall length provides sufficient working reach for standard adult procedures; the Fig.0 pattern denotes the manufacturer's reference geometry for handling and tip orientation.
