Clinical Application

Designed for gynecologic procedures that require controlled scraping or removal of endometrial and intrauterine tissue. Common uses include diagnostic endometrial sampling, dilation and curettage (D&C), evacuation of retained products of conception, and debridement of the uterine cavity. The 40 mm spoon-shaped tip provides a broad surface for efficient tissue collection while the extended 31 cm length allows access to the uterine cavity through a dilated cervix.

Design & Configuration

The Sims-style spoon tip offers a curved scraping surface that conforms to the uterine wall, facilitating atraumatic collection of endometrial tissue and reducing the need for multiple passes. A malleable shaft permits intraoperative contouring to match patient anatomy or to improve alignment through the cervical canal, improving reach and tactile control.
