Clinical Application

Designed for gynecologic procedures requiring controlled endometrial tissue removal, this Sims-style curette is used for diagnostic and therapeutic uterine curettage, dilation and curettage (D&C), and evacuation of retained products of conception. The sharp curette loop allows efficient scraping of endometrial lining and focal tissue while the malleable shaft facilitates adaptation to uterine anatomy during manual procedures performed under appropriate clinical visualization and technique.

Design & Configuration

The malleable shaft permits the clinician to gently contour the instrument to match the uterine axis, improving access to angled cavities and reducing the need to exchange instruments. The 20 mm curette loop provides a balance between surface area for tissue removal and tactile control for selective scraping.
