Clinical Application

Designed for manual endometrial curettage and uterine tissue sampling during gynecologic procedures, including diagnostic dilation and curettage (D&C), removal of retained products of conception, and outpatient endometrial biopsies when a spoon-shaped curette is preferred. The 14 mm curette tip provides controlled tissue engagement per pass, helping clinicians obtain adequate samples or perform targeted evacuation with tactile feedback.

Design & Configuration

The malleable shaft permits intraoperative contouring to match uterine axis and cervical canal angulation, improving access and reducing the need for forceful manipulation. The Sims-style spoon/scoop tip is shaped to permit atraumatic scraping of the endometrial lining and collection of tissue while minimizing perforation risk when used with appropriate technique. The 31 cm overall length offers extended reach for deeper cavities or when additional instrument length is required.
