Clinical Application

Designed for gynecologic procedures that require controlled scraping or sampling of the endometrial lining, this instrument is used for diagnostic and therapeutic curettage, removal of retained products, and operative endometrial sampling in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The blunt spoon-tip facilitates tissue removal while reducing the risk of inadvertent endometrial perforation compared with sharp curettes.

The Sims pattern provides a spoon-shaped curetting surface that conforms to the uterine cavity for efficient tissue collection.
