Clinical Application

Designed for gynecologic procedures requiring mechanical endometrial sampling or removal of intrauterine tissue. Common indications include diagnostic endometrial biopsy, dilation and curettage (D&C), and evacuation of retained products of conception. The spoon-shaped Sims tip facilitates controlled scraping of the uterine lining and retrieval of tissue for histopathology or therapeutic management.

Design & Configuration

The rigid shaft provides tactile feedback and controlled force transmission during curettage, improving operator precision when engaging the endometrial surface. The Sims-style spoon tip geometry permits effective contact with anterior and posterior uterine walls while minimizing the risk of catching on cervical tissue.
