Clinical Application
Designed for targeted endometrial sampling and mechanical removal of retained products during gynecologic procedures such as diagnostic uterine sampling and dilation & curettage (D&C). The sharpened scoop edge enables controlled engagement and retrieval of tissue or membranes from the uterine cavity, aiding specimen collection for histologic analysis or evacuation of small residual tissue.
Design & Configuration
The instrument's straight shaft and 30 cm overall length provide tactile control and reach for transvaginal access. An 11.5 mm scoop bowl with a sharpened margin concentrates contact force at the working edge to permit precise scraping and controlled detachment of endometrial tissue; the concave geometry retains material within the bowl for withdrawal through the cervical canal.
