Clinical Application
This two-prong Simon fistula hook is designed for safe, controlled exploration and management of fistulous tracts and blind sinuses. It is used to identify and follow the course of a tract from the external opening toward the internal opening, to facilitate placement of sutures, drains, setons or probes, and to aid excision or curettage of the tract. Design & Configuration
The double-prong hooked tip permits the instrument to encircle or engage a probe, thread, drain or suture and provides secure control when passing materials through a tract.
