Clinical Application
Provides atraumatic exploration and measurement of the uterine cavity and cervical canal. Commonly used to determine uterine depth and orientation prior to intrauterine device (IUD) placement, dilation and curettage, hysteroscopy, or other intrauterine procedures. The malleable shaft allows clinicians to negotiate variable uterine axes and to confirm patency or position without blunt trauma.
Design & Configuration
The malleable shaft can be shaped intraoperatively to follow the patient's uterine axis (anteverted, retroverted, or laterally displaced), improving access and reducing the need for repeated instrumentation. A smooth, rounded atraumatic tip minimizes endometrial and cervical trauma during insertion and withdrawal. At 30.5 cm length, the probe accommodates deeper access and is useful in cases where additional reach or manipulation is required.
Instrument Specifications
- Type: Uterine probe / sound
- Pattern: Malleable (copper)
- Effective length: 30.5 cm
- Tip: Rounded, atraumatic
- Primary uses: Uterine sounding, canal localization, IUD placement guidance, procedural assessment

Material & Construction
Constructed from malleable copper to allow controlled bending and reliable shape retention during use. The smooth surface finish reduces tissue adherence and facilitates atraumatic passage through the cervical canal. Designed for repeated clinical use and compatible with standard hospital sterilization protocols when reprocessed according to established facility procedures.
Quality & Compliance
Manufactured by FDA-registered OEM facilities and produced under strict quality control standards.
Brand Comparison
