Clinical Application

This instrument is designed to provide controlled mechanical dilation of the cervical canal to a 16 mm diameter to permit safe uterine access. It is indicated for use when a definitive single-size dilation is required as part of procedures such as diagnostic or operative hysteroscopy, dilation and curettage (D&C), endometrial sampling, and other gynecologic interventions that require unobstructed passage into the uterine cavity. Use in a graduated dilation protocol reduces the risk of cervical trauma; the 16 mm size is typically selected when larger working channels or instrumentation are necessary.

Design & Configuration
