Clinical Application

This instrument is intended for controlled mechanical dilation of the cervical canal during gynecologic procedures. Common uses include initial cervical dilation prior to dilation and curettage (D&C), hysteroscopy, intrauterine device (IUD) placement in patients with a tight os, and management of cervical stenosis. The 6 mm diameter corresponds to a commonly used early step in graduated dilation protocols and facilitates atraumatic passage of subsequent instruments.

Design & Configuration
