Clinical Application
Designed to provide atraumatic separation of the vaginal walls and direct visualization of the cervix and vaginal vault. Suited for routine gynecologic examinations, colposcopy, cervical sampling (Pap/HPV), intrauterine device (IUD) insertion or removal, and minor office-based gynecologic procedures that require unobstructed access to the cervix.
Design & Configuration
The bivalve geometry produces a consistent, bilateral retraction of the vaginal walls, improving line of sight to the cervix and facilitating instrument access through the introitus. The large (L) size provides increased exposure for patients with greater pelvic dimensions or when additional working room is required. An adjustable aperture permits graded opening to balance exposure with patient comfort and to secure the speculum position during procedures.
