Clinical Application
Designed to provide reliable visualization and access to the vaginal canal and cervix for diagnostic and minor therapeutic gynecologic procedures. Common uses include speculum pelvic exams, cervical cytology (Pap/HPV) collection, IUD insertion and removal, colposcopy adjunct exposure, and minor in-office procedures requiring direct visualization of the cervix.
Design & Configuration
The bivalve (two-blade) geometry permits controlled separation of the vaginal walls and unobstructed visualization of the cervix. Blade dimensions of 110 x 40 mm balance depth and width to facilitate access in patients requiring moderate exposure without unnecessary tissue displacement. The open bivalved design allows direct instrument passage and sampling while maintaining a stable field for the clinician.
