Clinical Application

The bivalve design with a lateral screw mechanism allows the blades to be opened and maintained at a stable aperture without continuous manual retraction, freeing the clinician's hands for specimen collection or instrumentation. Flat-ended blades reduce focal pressure on mucosa compared with sharply contoured tips, helping minimize patient discomfort during insertion and manipulation.
