Clinical Application
Designed for direct anoscopic/proctoscopic examination of the anal canal and distal rectum. Suitable for office or operating room use for diagnostic visualization, targeted inspection of mucosal lesions, assessment of hemorrhoids, removal of small foreign bodies, obtaining biopsy samples, and helping guide minor operative maneuvers performed through the anal verge.
Design & Configuration
The rigid tubular geometry provides a stable, straight working channel that maintains an open field for visualization and instrumentation. The 19 mm diameter balances patient comfort with adequate internal clearance to permit passage of biopsy forceps, graspers, and other standard rectal instruments. The relatively short 49 mm length limits insertion to the anal canal and distal rectum, improving ergonomics for clinicians performing focused procedures in that region.
