Clinical Application
Designed for temporary occlusion and securement of intestinal segments during general and colorectal surgery. The clamp provides reliable control of bowel contents and tissue while performing resections, anastomoses, enterotomies or exteriorization maneuvers. Its straight geometry is useful for working along linear segments of small or large intestine and in confined operative fields.
Design & Configuration
The straight jaw geometry facilitates alignment along the bowel axis for atraumatic placement and easy visualization of the clamped segment. Serrated jaws with a 1x2 tooth tip concentrate gripping force to minimize slippage on slippery serosal surfaces, helping maintain secure occlusion during tissue manipulation. The clamp’s profile supports stable tissue control while allowing access for suture placement or stapling adjacent to the occluded segment.
