Clinical Application
Long, rigid forceps designed for controlled grasping and retrieval of foreign bodies or tissue during airway, esophageal and endoscopic procedures. The 50 cm length provides extended reach for procedures that require access to the distal pharynx, trachea, bronchi or upper gastrointestinal tract using rigid endoscopes or direct laryngoscopy. Common applications include removal of aspirated or ingested foreign bodies, retrieval of displaced devices or fragments, and targeted grasping during diagnostic or therapeutic endoscopic interventions.
Design & Configuration
The elongated single-shaft geometry provides reach without excessive bulk, allowing the operator to maintain visualization through rigid endoscopes while manipulating the jaws. Ring-handle control gives tactile feedback and secure closure, enabling precise positioning and controlled grip on small or irregular objects. The slim shaft profile minimizes obstruction of the visual field and facilitates insertion through oral or instrument channels used in ENT, pulmonology and thoracic procedures.
