Clinical Application
Provides controlled traction and stabilization of the tongue during airway management, intubation assistance, intraoral surgery, tonsillectomy, frenotomy, and other ENT or oral procedures where secure, atraumatic handling of the tongue is required. The 19 cm length gives the operator sufficient reach and working distance while maintaining precise control of the oral field.
Design & Configuration
Elongated shaft geometry positions the operator’s hands away from the oral cavity to preserve access and visibility. The distal tips are shaped to cradle and secure the tongue with broad contact surfaces that minimize point pressure and tissue trauma. The overall slim profile reduces obstruction in the oral corridor, allowing concurrent use of suction, retractors, or laryngoscopes.
