Clinical Application

This frame provides the rigid support portion of a pediatric Malek mouth gag system. When fitted with the corresponding pediatric Malek blades, it establishes and maintains oral and oropharyngeal exposure for procedures such as pediatric tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, oropharyngeal foreign body removal and other ENT or airway procedures where secure, hands‑free access is required. The frame allows unobstructed access for suction, instrumentation and endotracheal tubes while stabilizing jaw position during surgery.

Design & Configuration

The component frame is engineered to accept and secure pediatric Malek blades and to hold the gag assembly in a stable, repeatable orientation. Its low‑profile geometry is intended to minimize interference with laryngoscopes and endotracheal tubes while providing sufficient clearance for visualization and instrumentation.
