Clinical Application
Designed for intranasal work on the nasal septum, this left-angled septum forceps is used to grasp, elevate and stabilize septal mucoperichondrial tissue and cartilage during septoplasty, septorhinoplasty and related nasal procedures. The left orientation provides ergonomic access to the left nasal cavity for precise tissue manipulation, suture placement, and controlled handling of packing or graft material.
Design & Configuration
The left-angled geometry positions the shaft and jaw to align with the left nasal corridor, improving visibility and line-of-action for the operating surgeon. At 23 cm overall length, the instrument provides extended reach into the nasal cavity while keeping the surgeon's hand clear of the immediate surgical field. The long, narrow jaws concentrate grip force on the targeted septal tissue to permit secure, atraumatic handling in a confined space.
