Clinical Application
Designed for use in otolaryngology procedures that require precise handling in confined intranasal spaces. Common applications include placement and removal of nasal packs or pledgets, grasping and positioning gauze or dressings, retrieval of small foreign bodies from the nasal cavity, and fine tissue manipulation during septoplasty, anterior rhinologic procedures, and epistaxis management.
Design & Configuration
The bayonet offset shaft positions the operator’s hands away from the line of sight, improving visualization of the nasal cavity during use. The 20 cm overall length provides reach into the anterior nasal cavity and toward deeper intranasal targets while retaining tactile control. Narrow, atraumatic jaws allow secure control of packing or small items with minimal mucosal trauma, making the geometry well-suited for delicate intranasal work.
