Clinical Application
Designed for otologic procedures that require precise point traction and controlled tissue manipulation within the confined space of the ear canal and middle ear. Common uses include elevation and medial/lateral retraction of tympanomeatal flaps, controlled removal of membranous tissue and small adhesions, extraction of small foreign bodies, and fine work during tympanoplasty, myringoplasty, and other middle ear procedures performed under microscope or endoscope.
Design & Configuration
The 90-degree angulation provides a perpendicular approach to structures along the canal axis, improving access to posterior and superior recesses without excessive instrument rotation. A slender shaft and a fine single-point hook tip deliver tactile feedback and precise point contact, allowing the surgeon to engage small tissue planes and membranes while minimizing collateral contact with the canal walls and ossicular structures. This geometry is particularly useful when working through specula or narrow operative corridors under magnification.

Material & Construction
Manufactured from surgical-grade stainless steel for corrosion resistance and durability appropriate to repeated sterilization cycles. The fine hook tip and shaft are precision formed and polished to provide smooth, controlled contact with delicate soft tissues in otologic procedures. Reusable construction supports centralized sterilization workflows in hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers.
Quality & Compliance
Manufactured by FDA-registered OEM facilities and produced under strict quality control standards.
Brand Comparison
Comparable in form and function to equivalent instruments offered by major US medical suppliers.
