Clinical Application

It is used to elevate tympanomeatal and mucoperiosteal flaps, gently retract soft tissue, remove fibrous debris or cholesteatoma matrix, and perform fine dissection around the ossicular chain under the operating microscope. The 90-degree angulation allows the surgeon to approach medial recesses and hidden pockets without excessive hand or instrument manipulation.
