Clinical Application
Designed to provide controlled, atraumatic grip in confined or deep anatomical spaces, this clamp is used to grasp, retract or bluntly dissect soft tissues without crushing delicate structures. Its narrow jaws allow passage into deeper operative fields—useful in procedures where reach and gentle tissue handling are priorities, such as deep abdominal, pelvic, vascular and select soft-tissue surgeries.
Design & Configuration
The instrument’s long shank increases reach into deep cavities while maintaining tactile feedback at the jaws. The atraumatic jaw surfaces are intended to distribute contact pressure and minimize tissue injury compared with serrated or toothed clamps. A ratchet locking mechanism provides a secure hold at adjustable tensions, and a box-lock hinge gives reliable alignment and smooth opening/closing for repeated use during a case.
