Clinical Application
This set is supplied to support direct laryngoscopy and endotracheal intubation across a range of patient anatomies. The included sizes (#2 — 78 mm, #3, and #4) provide options for smaller and larger airways, enabling laryngoscopists and anesthesia teams to select the blade length and geometry best suited to achieve an optimal line of sight to the glottis during routine and difficult airway management in operating rooms, ambulatory surgery centers, and emergency settings.
Design & Configuration
The Macintosh curved blade design lifts the epiglottis indirectly by positioning the blade in the vallecula, improving visualization of the vocal cords while minimizing soft-tissue obstruction. Integrated fiber optic illumination transmits light along the blade to the field at the tip, reducing shadows and improving glottic exposure compared with non-illuminated blades. Providing three sizes in one set allows quick intra-procedural selection for patients with different oral and pharyngeal dimensions, reducing the need to open additional packaging during an airway intervention.

Material & Construction
Blades are manufactured from surgical-grade stainless steel for durability and reprocessability. Illumination is provided via integrated fiber optic components routed through the blade, delivering consistent illumination to the tip region without reliance on an exposed bulb within the blade. The components are designed for repeated cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization in accordance with institutional reprocessing protocols.
Quality & Compliance
Manufactured by FDA-registered OEM facilities and produced under strict quality control standards.
Brand Comparison
