Clinical Application
Designed to provide the core instruments required to create and maintain a surgical airway, this tracheostomy set supports open (surgical) tracheostomy procedures, safe insertion and exchange of tracheostomy tubes, and bedside airway management in the OR, ICU, or emergency setting. The included obturator and tracheostomy tube components allow atraumatic introduction of the airway; dilators, retractors, and hooks facilitate exposure of the trachea; and forceps/scissors provide tissue handling, hemostasis and suture management during tube placement or tube change.
Design & Configuration
The kit is supplied in a stainless steel sterilization case that keeps instruments organized for rapid access and safe transport. Typical design features—such as a smoothly contoured obturator tip to reduce mucosal trauma, tapered dilators for controlled stoma dilation, and a low-profile tracheal hook for stable tracheal exposure—address common procedural needs. Curved and straight tissue forceps, hemostats and scissors are arranged to permit stepwise progression from incision and dissection to tube placement and securing, reducing instrument exchange time during critical airway work.

Material & Construction
Instruments are manufactured in medical-grade stainless steel with precision-ground working surfaces intended for repeated use and autoclave sterilization. The case is stainless steel to permit direct sterilization and safe storage. Component designs emphasize smooth finishes and polished contact surfaces to minimize tissue trauma and facilitate cleaning between uses.
Quality & Compliance
Manufactured by FDA-registered OEM facilities and produced under strict quality control standards.
Brand Comparison
Comparable in form and function to equivalent instruments offered by major US medical suppliers.
