Clinical Application
Designed for precise removal and shaping of bone and soft tissue during spinal decompression procedures. Commonly used for laminectomy, hemilaminectomy, medial facetectomy and other decompressive procedures where controlled bone nibbling is required. The 2 x 12 mm jaw dimension facilitates incremental bone removal in tight anatomical spaces while minimizing collateral disruption.
Design & Configuration
The straight shaft and 16 cm overall length provide direct access to posterior spinal elements in open approaches. A compact 2 x 12 mm biting surface allows for focused, controlled bites of cortical and cancellous bone in confined working corridors. Straight jaw geometry gives predictable bite orientation, enabling the surgeon to orient the tip parallel to the lamina or facet as required for efficient tissue removal and visualization.
