Clinical Application

The key (Rugine) periosteal elevator is designed for controlled elevation and reflection of periosteum and mucoperiosteal flaps. Its broad key-shaped blade is optimized to separate soft tissue from bone with minimal tearing, making it useful in tooth extractions, periodontal procedures, implant site preparation, alveoloplasty and general oral/maxillofacial and ENT exposure tasks.
