Clinical Application

Designed for controlled scraping, debridement and removal of diseased or excess bone and soft tissue from bone surfaces. The left-oriented working end facilitates access to left-sided or medial anatomy and locations where a left sweep is required to reach undercuts, cortical margins or confined cavities. Typical uses include orthopedic procedures, hand and foot surgery, ENT and oral/maxillofacial procedures where precise bone curettage, shaping or sample collection is required.

Design & Configuration

The left-curved working end provides an oriented scoop that lets the surgeon apply a scraping motion while maintaining line-of-sight and instrument ergonomics in confined exposures. The Fig.2 pattern denotes the specific profile and orientation of the bowl relative to the shaft, optimized for controlled bites of cancellous or cortical bone. At 16 cm overall length the shaft balances reach for moderately deep fields with tactile feedback for fine manual control.
