Clinical Application

Provides precise scraping and removal of bone and adherent soft tissue in procedures that require controlled curettage. The left-oriented geometry facilitates access to anatomical areas approached from the patient’s right side or to left-sided defects where an angled tip improves line-of-sight and instrument-to-tissue contact. Common uses include cortical and cancellous bone debridement, shaping bone margins, removal of granulation tissue, and controlled harvesting of small bone fragments during orthopedic, ENT, oral/maxillofacial and selected neurosurgical procedures.

Design & Configuration

The left orientation aligns the spoon-shaped curette tip with the working surface when approaching from a specific angle, reducing the need to rotate the instrument or the operative field. At 16 cm overall length, the reach is sufficient for deeper cavities while retaining tactile feedback at the tip for controlled scraping.
