Clinical Application
Designed to facilitate atraumatic passage of ligature or suture materials around vessels, pedicles, ducts and other tubular structures in open and limited-access procedures. Commonly used in general, vascular, gynecologic and ENT surgeries when a controlled method is needed to guide a ligature around a structure prior to secure ligation.
Design & Configuration
The compact 7 mm conductor tip provides a low-profile, blunt interface that captures and advances suture without sharp penetrating edges, reducing the risk of tissue trauma during placement. The 20 cm working length gives reach into moderately deep operative fields while maintaining tactile control. The Fig.3 profile is configured to present the conductor tip in a manner that eases circumferential passage of suture around cylindrical structures and through confined spaces commonly encountered in ligation tasks.
