Clinical Application

Designed for use in anesthesia, airway management and ENT procedures where controlled placement or manipulation of tubes and catheters is required. The instrument permits guided introduction of endotracheal tubes, nasogastric tubes and other catheters during nasotracheal intubation or enteric tube placement under direct laryngoscopic visualization. It is also used to retrieve small foreign bodies from the oropharynx and upper airway when fine, atraumatic control is needed.

The angled, curved shaft and distal angled jaws allow the clinician to follow the anatomic curve of the nasopharynx and oropharynx, providing line-of-sight alignment with the glottic opening while working through the mouth or nose.
