Clinical Application

Designed to assist airway management and instrumentation in anesthesia, emergency and ENT settings. The angled forceps are used to guide nasotracheal and orotracheal tubes or to advance and position catheters (for example suction or gastric catheters) under direct laryngoscopic visualization. They are also used for gentle retrieval of small foreign bodies from the oropharynx. The slim profile facilitates working in the constrained oral cavity while preserving visualization of the vocal cords and surrounding anatomy.

Design & Configuration

The angled, slender geometry places the tips into the oropharynx with minimal tongue or soft-tissue obstruction, enabling the clinician to maneuver tubes and catheters into the glottic inlet while maintaining laryngoscopic view. A 15 cm shaft length provides reach appropriate for adult airway procedures without excessive instrument bulk. Fine, angled tips allow secure engagement of soft plastic tubing while reducing the risk of lumen occlusion or tearing during placement.
