Clinical Application
Designed for anterior cervical spine procedures, this retractor provides a stable working corridor for discectomy, fusion, corpectomy and anterior exposure of cervical vertebral bodies. The multi-blade configuration permits controlled soft-tissue retraction of platysma, strap muscles, esophagus and trachea while maintaining surgical access to the anterior cervical spine. Use facilitates improved visualization, instrument manipulation, and graft or implant placement with reduced need for continuous manual retraction.
Design & Configuration
The self-retaining frame and five-blade arrangement allow the surgeon to tailor retraction to the level and size of exposure. Multiple blades distribute retraction forces evenly across soft tissues, reducing focal pressure and helping to maintain a consistent operative corridor without an assistant holding retractors. The 85X115 mm footprint provides a defined opening suitable for single-level or limited multi-level cervical exposure while the modular blades enable asymmetric or graduated retraction where needed.
