Clinical Application
Designed to provide controlled, permanent occlusion of vessels and soft‑tissue pedicles in open surgical procedures. Commonly used in general, gynecologic and soft‑tissue surgery for ligation of medium‑sized arteries, ovarian or mesenteric pedicles, and other structures where a crushing occlusion is appropriate. Not intended for delicate or microvascular repair where atraumatic handling is required.
Design & Configuration
The straight configuration and 16 cm length deliver mid‑range reach with direct alignment of the jaws to the target vessel, improving access in confined operative fields. The angiotribe-style jaws are geometrically shaped to concentrate compressive force across a broad contact area for reliable, permanent occlusion. A ratchet locking handle provides secure, sustained compression once engaged, allowing the surgeon to maintain hemostasis while completing subsequent steps of the procedure.
