Clinical Application
Designed for use in gynecologic procedures that require secure clamping and control of uterine vessels, parametrial tissue and pedicles—most notably radical (Wertheim) hysterectomy and other pelvic dissections. The 21 cm length provides additional reach into the deep pelvis for vessel control and tissue traction while allowing the surgeon to maintain clear visualization of the operative field. Appropriate for open hysterectomy approaches and situations where a curved clamp improves access to lateral pelvic structures.
Design & Configuration
The curved jaw geometry is intended to follow pelvic contours and approach vascular pedicles at an oblique angle, improving access and reducing the need for excessive tissue retraction. A locking mechanism on the shanks secures clamped tissue, permitting hands-free retention while sutures or ligatures are applied. The overall length balances reach with tactile control, reducing instrument exchanges in deeper operative sites.
