Design & Configuration

The Herrick pattern provides a purpose-built jaw geometry and long shank that facilitate controlled clamping around the renal pedicle. The curved (cvd) shaft allows the jaws to approach the vessel bundle at an advantageous angle, helping the surgeon position the clamp around vascular structures while working around the kidney mass and surrounding tissue. A robust locking mechanism maintains secure occlusion throughout the operative step where temporary hemostasis is required.
