Clinical Application
Designed for atraumatic clamping and secure occlusion of small-to-medium caliber blood vessels and tissue, this Kelly hemostatic forceps is a workhorse for general, gynecologic, urologic, and soft-tissue procedures. Curved jaws facilitate vessel control and dissection in deeper or confined operative fields, and full-length serrations provide consistent grip on slippery or friable tissue during hemostasis and ligation.
Design & Configuration
The curved geometry directs the jaws around structures, improving visualization and access when working along curves or in cavities. Full-length transverse serrations along the jaw increase contact area and reduce the risk of slippage when clamping vessels or grasping tissue. The ratchet lock permits graduated closing pressure and reliable maintenance of occlusion without continuous manual force.
