Clinical Application
Designed to provide reliable mechanical hemostasis, these curved hemostatic forceps are used to atraumatically clamp and occlude small-to-medium caliber vessels and to grasp or stabilize soft tissue during dissection. The 20 cm length places the working tip at a comfortable depth for abdominal, thoracic, and deeper superficial procedures where a longer reach and angulation help access vessels around anatomical curves.
Design & Configuration
The curved geometry directs the serrated jaws around tissue planes and vessels, improving visualization of the occlusion point and allowing the shaft to clear adjacent structures. Ring handles with an integrated locking ratchet permit sustained clamping without continuous manual pressure, and the curved tip facilitates blunt dissection and controlled traction while minimizing accidental slippage of the clamped vessel.
Instrument Specifications
