Clinical Application
Designed to provide secure, sustained occlusion of small-to-medium vessels and firm grasping of soft tissue during a wide range of procedures. The straight Kelly hemostatic forceps are commonly used in general surgery, gynecology, ENT, emergency/trauma settings and minor procedure rooms for vessel control, suture management and blunt dissection. The 14 cm length offers a balance of reach for deeper superficial pockets while retaining tactile control for precise clamping.
Design & Configuration
The straight geometry provides a direct line of sight and approach to vessels and tissue planes, which simplifies atraumatic clamp placement and removal. A ratcheted locking handle and precision box lock deliver reliable sustained closure without continuous manual pressure. The Kelly-style transverse serrations on the distal jaw improve grip on vessels and tissue while the partial serration profile reduces crushing injury compared with fully serrated patterns. Finger rings are sized for ergonomic handling and controlled rotation.
