Clinical Application
Designed to achieve hemostasis of small-caliber vessels and to secure delicate tissue during dissection, ligation and wound closure. The small-profile jaws provide precise control of capillaries and small arterioles/venules, making this instrument useful in general surgery, pediatric cases, plastic and reconstructive procedures, ENT work and minor surgical procedures where fine vessel control and atraumatic handling are required.
Design & Configuration
The straight configuration gives a direct line of sight and control for surface and shallow-field applications. At 18 cm overall length the instrument balances fingertip precision with sufficient reach for routine operative fields. Fine transverse serrations extending to the tip provide a secure grip on small vessels and suture material without excessive crushing, while a ratchet lock allows the clamp to be held closed at a chosen tension for reliable hemostasis and hands-free control.
