Clinical Application
Designed for atraumatic occlusion of small blood vessels and secure clamping of fine tissue pedicles, this compact curved hemostat is well suited for procedures that require precise control in limited or deep operative fields. Typical uses include general surgery, vascular and soft-tissue hemostasis, ENT and minor procedures where a shorter instrument improves tactile feedback and tip control.
Design & Configuration
The curved geometry of the distal shaft permits improved visualization of the tip while allowing the jaws to be placed around vessels or tissue at an angle. The 7.5 cm overall length provides enhanced fingertip control and delicate handling compared with longer hemostats, making it preferable for working in confined spaces or when fine, sustained compression is required. A ratchet locking mechanism maintains secure closure without continuous hand pressure, enabling the assistant or surgeon to focus on the next step in the procedure.
