Clinical Application

Designed for secure tissue handling in general and minor surgical procedures, these tissue forceps are used to grasp skin edges, subcutaneous tissue and fascia for wound retraction, suture placement and tissue manipulation. The 2x3 tooth tip provides an interlocking grip that resists slippage when approximating tissue during suturing or when securing tissue for dissection. Because of the toothed tip, these forceps are intended for use on skin and tougher soft tissues rather than on delicate vascular or nervous structures.

Design & Configuration

The 2x3T tooth configuration features two teeth on one blade interlocking with three teeth on the opposite blade to produce focused contact points that stabilize tissue without requiring excessive compressive force. At 13 cm overall length the instrument balances reach and tactile control, making it suitable for superficial operative fields and minor procedures where precise fingertip control is required. The handheld, single-piece design facilitates direct tissue control and rapid positioning during suturing and soft-tissue manipulation.
