Clinical Application
Long, fine-bladed dissecting scissors designed for precise separation of delicate soft tissues. Commonly used during general, plastic, ENT, gynecologic and vascular procedures where atraumatic handling and controlled cutting are required — for example, undermining subcutaneous tissue, freeing adhesions, or creating tissue planes around neurovascular structures.
Design & Configuration
The long shank-to-blade ratio provides reach and visibility in deeper or narrow operative fields while preserving fine-tip control. The straight orientation offers a direct cutting line ideal for superficial-to-midplane dissection and straightforward tissue separation. A sharp/blunt tip combination permits selective cutting with reduced risk of unintended puncture: the sharp blade performs the incision while the opposing blunt tip protects underlying structures during progressive dissection.
