Clinical Application
Designed to provide precise, focal traction on skin and superficial soft tissue during delicate procedures. Common uses include elevation and counter-traction of dermis and subcutaneous tissue during flap dissection, lesion excision, wound closure, and fine reconstructive tasks in plastic surgery, craniofacial, oculoplastic, ENT, and dermatology. The single hook concentrates traction to permit controlled exposure of small fields without the bulk of larger retractors, helping to minimize instrument obstruction and permitting fine adjustments of tissue tension.
Design & Configuration
The slender, rigid shaft terminates in a single fine hook tip to deliver point traction with precise control. This geometry allows the instrument to reach into narrow pockets and maintain a low profile within the operative field, which is advantageous in confined anatomic regions. Because the hook applies focal force to a limited surface area, operators can obtain effective exposure with less sweeping or blunt retraction—however, controlled, minimal force is required to avoid tissue tearing.
Instrument Specifications

Material & Construction
Crafted from surgical-grade stainless steel to withstand repeated cleaning and sterilization cycles. The single-hook tip is formed to deliver a fine point of contact for controlled traction while the rigid shaft preserves alignment and tactile feedback during manipulation.
Quality & Compliance
Manufactured by FDA-registered OEM facilities and produced under strict quality control standards.
Brand Comparison
Comparable in form and function to equivalent instruments offered by major US medical suppliers.
