Clinical Application

This conventional Macintosh blade is sized and shaped for direct laryngoscopy in neonatal and small-infant patients. The Macintosh curved profile is designed for indirect elevation of the epiglottis by engaging the vallecula rather than directly lifting the epiglottis.
