Clinical Application
This small straight elevator is intended for precise elevation and dissection of delicate soft tissues and mucoperiosteal layers. The fine 2 mm tip allows controlled separation in confined spaces encountered in otologic and ENT procedures (for example tympanoplasty, middle-ear work and mucosal elevation), as well as other microsurgical tasks that require a low-profile instrument for fine palpation and tissue mobilization.
Design & Configuration
The single-ended straight geometry with a 19 cm shaft provides length and tactile control for working within deep or narrow operative corridors while keeping the instrument handle accessible to the surgeon. The narrow 2 mm tip concentrates force into a small contact area to facilitate precise elevation and blunt dissection with minimal collateral tissue disturbance. The straight blade orientation is useful where direct, inline access is required.
