Clinical Application

Designed to provide controlled, progressive dilation of vascular lumens to facilitate introduction of catheters, sheaths, cannulas or grafts. Commonly used during peripheral and central vascular access, AV fistula creation, arteriotomy dilation and other vascular or cardiothoracic procedures where atraumatic lumen expansion is required. The small 2.0 mm tip permits initial passage through tight or stenotic segments before upsizing with larger dilators or introducers.

The long, tapered shaft provides gradual increase in diameter from the 2.0 mm tip to the instrument body, enabling smooth, progressive dilation while minimizing abrupt radial stress on the vessel wall.
