Clinical Application
Designed for temporary occlusion of blood vessels during open procedures, this clamp provides secure, atraumatic control of medium to large vessels during dissection, mobilization, and anastomosis preparation. Its 24 cm length is suited to deeper operative fields—such as thoracic, abdominal, and retroperitoneal exposures—where extended reach and reliable vessel control are required. Use with care around friable vessels and in microvascular anastomoses where finer, specialized clamps are preferred.
Design & Configuration
The Figure-3 configuration balances shaft length and jaw geometry to deliver controlled compression without focal crushing of the vessel wall. A box-lock pivot with a ratcheted handle enables tactile feedback and secure closure at incremental pressure settings, allowing the surgeon to maintain hemostasis without continuous manual force. The 24 cm shaft gives additional working reach while preserving maneuverability in confined operative fields.
